Brut Blanc de Blancs Mosaique Vintage - Tasting NotesFine beads of bubbles and a persistent trail of delicate mousse. Golden straw colour with a slight hint of green. On the nose, this Champagne is delicate and reticent but showing a good level of maturity; the attack exhibits buttery aromas coupled with honey, hazelnut, and roasted perfumes giving way to secondary aromas of white fruits, figs and freshly mown grass. Suppleness and freshness combine on the palate, with a silky attack followed by a rounded texture that Blanc de Blanc's Champagne often lacks. Dried apricot and honey flavours dominate the palate leaving a scent of cocoa beans on the finish. The hallmark gentleness and aromas of vintage Chardonnay. Serving SuggestionsIdeal as an aperitif served with savoury appetisers, also marries perfectly with fish or shellfish. Serve at 7-9°C Please click here to go back to the Jacquart page. |
