Jacquart Brut de Nominée - Tasting Notes

A powerful and beautifully balanced Champagne. Its freshness makes it a wonderful aperitif and yet it has sufficient body to complement fish, poultry and veal dishes. Click the image on the right to enlarge.

Richard Dally, Chef des Caves, describes the wine as having: "Citrus fruit aromas with hints of peach, melon and pear. On the palate the citrus flavour persists, along with the fresh attack from the perfectly matured Chardonnay. The Pinot Noir gives the wine an extremely long finish." he concludes.

Composition

50% Pinot Noir from Mailly, Verenay and Puisieulx.

50% Chardonnay from Villers-Marmery and Trepail, which includes reserve wine.
