Jacquart Extra Brut - Tasting Notes

Cellar-aged for over five years, Extra Brut is a delicate blend of wines selected for finesse, balanced acidity and good ageing potential.

Only a very small amount of sugar dosage is added at 5 gm /litre whereas most standard Brut styles are between 8 and 12 gm / litre. The result is a champagne with an elegant floral nose with hints of citrus and white fruits. On the palate well defined fruit with a classic brioche flavour and a long lingering finish.

Serving Suggestions

Ideal with all seafood or as a dry aperitif.
